Meh... Im not going to say these chairs are 100% comfortable, but I will say they handle my weight amazingly well. (Im about 170) The back pieces are there for looks only! Trust me I tried to crack my back on the one i use at my desk, and broke the back piece right off. Oops. In the future I may put a few padded packs on the seating portion
